I was born September 22, 1959 in northern Alberta. When I
was two, my family of 11 moved to Whitehorse, YT. In my
early teens, we slowly moved south. I have lived in
Vancouver since 1979 and both my children were born
and raised here.

My eductation consists of many years of independant study
in New York, France, Greece and Vancouver. I have also
formally graduated from the 4 year "Fine Arts" Program at
Emily Carr College of Arts & Design.

My work is inspired by nature; human as well as earthly. I
experiment with colour, line and texture in an attempt to
find a common understanding of emotions. Working in oils
on plaster covered wood is the most yielding medium for
my expression but I have occasionally worked on a variety
of different surfaces.
